Welcome to the 11th Annual Association of Recovery Schools Conference.  Hope, Health and Healing in HOUSTON will celebrate the amazing recovery work being done around the country at the high school and collegiate level.  This conference is for educators, therapists, guidance counselors, social workers, psychiatrists, nurses, physicians, community volunteers, and anyone interested in helping young people in recovery pursue their educational dreams.

This preconference will address the key issues involved with starting a recovery school.  Each of the presenters have helped start a school and will offer concrete ideas.  Presenters will recommend certain sessions to attend during the conference that may be most beneficial for those in the early stages of school formation and development, and they will re-convene at the conclusion of the conference to answer emerging questions and create action plans.

The Association of Recovery Schools is teaming up with Archway Academy to provide exciting national speakers, thought-provoking sessions and inspiration for those of us in the trenches and those who are building new programs.

Our work is fulfilling, energizing, meaningful and rewarding.  Our work is also taxing, draining, stressful and all consuming.  This year's theme: Hope, Health and Healing in HOUSTON is a reminder of how important it is that WE take care of ourselves so that we can support others.  Come to learn, growth, laugh, network, fill up, and renew.  Registration is now open.
