Archway Lunch & Learn Series 2021

The 2021 series will run from February to August.  Each presentation will be held on the third Thursday of the month from 12 to 1:15 PM (CST).

The objectives for this FREE CEU presentation are:

  1. Learn about OCD and its different presentations (i.e., OCD Subtypes)
  2. Understand treatment modalities that are helpful for OCD
  3. Learn how to incorporate parents into adolescents/teens’ OCD work

Our presenter this month is Dr. Ally Sequeira.  She practices at the McLean OCD Institute of Houston.  Dr. Sequeira is a Licensed Psychologist in both Texas (#38249) and California (#30282). She is fluent in Spanish and provides treatment in both English and Spanish. She has considerable experience in treating OCD, OCD-related disorders, depression, trauma, and anxiety disorders in children, teens, and adults. Throughout her graduate training, Dr. Sequeira worked in a variety of treatment settings, including a Federally Qualified Health Center, a community mental health center, a private practice, a hospital setting, a Child Advocacy Center, a tele-health counseling center, an autism clinic, a career center, and a primary care setting. She has experience working with a diverse population and in using evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention
