My name is Ted and I graduated from Archway in 2010 and returned as a member of the recovery staff in 2014 for four years. As a student I was treated as family. I was encouraged to explore my goals and provided with the resources needed to accomplish them. In addition to our classwork, we learned what it was like to be a member of a community that had a culture of constant growth while helping one another to do so together. Without this place, and the people who I met there, I would have missed so many of the opportunities that I have been able to take! After graduating, I attended the University of St. Thomas and earned a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I also earned my MBA from the Acton School of Business in Austin. Currently, I am building a career in real estate while also living a life full of community service and adventure. Most of the important relationships I have today were built while I was at Archway—from my classmates, to teachers and staff, and all the way up to the Board of Directors. I am very grateful to Archway for helping me create a solid foundation to build my life.

My name is Lillian and I graduated from Archway in 2020. During my time at Archway, I reconnected with my talents and purpose. I started writing music again and performing (something I stopped during my addiction). I’m currently interning at studio 713 in audio engineering and marketing/public relations. I’m performing all over Houston and will be shooting my 2nd music video next month. My music is turning from a passion/hobby into a full-time career. My music is a little dark but transformative and relatable. I’m on Spotify and Apple Music and am growing my presence outside of Houston as well. I’m very grateful for Archway and my recovery journey because it brought me back to myself. I’m the best version of me today and I’m chasing after dreams once lost. It feels amazing to have my insides and my outsides match up.

Sean

My name is Sean and I graduated from Archway in 2015. After graduation, I worked in the recovery field for three years before committing to business school full-time. In May, I will be graduating from the University of Houston with a degree in Supply Chain Management. After interning with Amazon, I was offered a full-time position with a Houston-based company as an Associate Business Transformation Consultant. I proposed to my longtime girlfriend in March and we became homeowners this year! I am very grateful for the time I spent at Archway where I was able to rediscover who I wanted to be. Without Archway, I wouldn’t have gone to college, met my fiance, or developed some friendships that will last a lifetime.
