Household Income & Obligations
We review your overall financial picture — income, family size, and monthly obligations — to understand what your family can genuinely sustain.
Recovery-Related Expenses
Therapy, IOP, APGs, and psychiatry are real costs. We factor in what your family is already spending to support your teen's recovery outside of school.
Recent Hardships
Job loss, medical bills, divorce, or other unexpected challenges are taken into account. If something significant has changed recently, we want to know about it.
Transportation & Logistics
Getting your teen to school is part of the equation. We consider transportation costs and other practical barriers that affect your family's ability to participate.

Will I need to reapply every year?
Yes — a new Clarity application is required each school year. Clarity saves your demographic information so reapplying is faster than the first time.
Is my financial information secure?
Yes. Clarity is certified for both SOC2 and GDPR and uses enterprise-level encryption. Your information is never shared beyond what's required for Archway's review. All applications are processed confidentially.
Why does Clarity connect to the IRS directly?
This is more secure than uploading tax documents — copies don't sit on your computer, in email, or on a school server. It's the same process used by mortgage lenders and FAFSA. Verification through the IRS pathway typically takes less than 24 hours.
Can I complete the application on my phone?
Yes. Clarity is fully mobile-friendly and available in English and Spanish. The application takes approximately 30 minutes.
