WHO WE SERVE
Archway is built for teens who are carrying more than most.
We serve students in grades 8 through 12 who are navigating one or more of the following:
Substance Use Disorder Teens in recovery from alcohol, opioids, stimulants, or other substances who need a structured, sober environment to protect and build on their progress.
Mental Health Challenges Teens managing depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, or other behavioral health conditions that have made a traditional school environment difficult or unsafe for their wellbeing.
Co-Occurring Challenges Teens facing both substance use and mental health challenges at the same time, which is more common than not and is something Archway is specifically equipped to support.
A student does not need a dual diagnosis to enroll. There is no waiting list for a new semester. Rolling admissions means your teen can start when they are ready.
Enrollment
Is Archway right
for my child?
Archway may be the right fit if your teen is experiencing one or more of the following. No dual diagnosis required — we serve students navigating substance use disorder, mental health challenges, or both.
Your teen does not need to meet all of these criteria. If even one feels familiar, it's worth a conversation.
Not sure if your teen qualifies?
The best next step is a conversation. Our counselors can help you figure out if Archway is the right fit — and if it isn't, we'll help point you in the right direction.
Our Model
Inside the Archway Model:
Structure, Support, Success
At Archway Academy, we believe students thrive when they are supported by professionals who are experts in their fields. That's why our unique model is built on strong partnerships and clear roles — teachers teach, counselors counsel, and recovery specialists guide students through the healing process.
We don't ask one person to do it all. Instead, we honor the value of specialized support by trusting educators to focus on academics, licensed counselors to support emotional well-being, and recovery staff to walk alongside students in their recovery and wellbeing. This intentional structure allows each student to receive the focused, high-quality support they deserve in every area of their life — education, recovery, and personal growth.
Keeping students well and in school is our priority.

Programs
A program designed
for where your teen is right now
Every family's situation is different. Archway offers programs to meet your teen wherever they are in their journey — whether they're stepping down from residential treatment, enrolled full-time on campus, or need additional support day to day.
Main Campus
Your teen attends school each day in a structured, sober environment designed specifically for students in recovery or managing mental health challenges. Small class sizes, daily check-ins, peer accountability, and personalized clinical support are built into every school day — so your teen never has to choose between getting well and keeping up academically.
Right for your teen if: They are ready to attend school full-time in a recovery-supportive setting and would benefit from daily clinical check-ins alongside their academic program.
Passageway
When a current Archway student needs a higher level of support — whether they're navigating a difficult moment in their recovery, a behavioral challenge, or an emotional setback — Passageway provides structured on-campus intervention. Therapeutic assignments and staff-led discussions help your teen reset and stay on track without leaving school.
Right for your teen if: They are already enrolled at Archway and are going through a harder period that requires closer daily support and accountability.
RTC Education
If your teen is currently in residential treatment at The PaRC, they don't have to fall behind academically while they focus on getting well. Through our partnership with Southwest Public Schools, Archway brings accredited instruction and recovery support staff directly on-site, so your teen keeps earning credits toward graduation during treatment.
Right for your teen if: They are currently residing at The PaRC for treatment and need academic continuity during their stay.
Outcomes
Why We Work
Archway's model is built on the belief that recovery and education are not competing priorities — they make each other possible. Twenty years of outcomes reflect that.

Specialized, not generalized Teachers focus on teaching. Counselors focus on counseling. Recovery staff focus on recovery. No one is stretched across roles, which means every student gets expert attention in every area.
Recovery and academics at the same time Students don't have to pause their education to get well. At Archway, recovery and learning happen side by side every single day.
A community that understands Peers at Archway share similar journeys. That shared experience creates accountability, empathy, and friendships that support long-term recovery in ways a traditional school cannot.
Coordinated care across providers Archway works closely with each student's therapists, counselors, treatment providers, and family to ensure every support system is aligned and moving in the same direction.
Our Commitment
Our Promise to Families
When your teen walks through our doors, this is what we commit to — not just as a policy, but as the foundation of everything we do.
A supportive and enthusiastic environment for your teen's recovery, wellbeing, and education.
Work closely with your teen's Alternative Peer Group (APG), counselors, family, and any other relevant parties to support their emotional, social, mental, physical, academic, and spiritual development.
Brief counseling interventions when needed, to address any behavioral, emotional, or recovery issues that surface while at school.
Daily check-in and closing opportunities so students can work through what's on their minds before and after the school day.
Accountability through random and frequent drug testing, ensuring every student stays aligned with our mission to keep them well and in school.
Hold every student accountable with love and understanding — because we believe every teen here deserves to be both challenged and deeply supported.
